Un normale pazzo weekend a Bolzano!

Un altro weekend di gara è giunto al termine per Fabio Leghissa e per Alessandro Merlin che hanno gareggiato a Bolzano presso @Frasnelli kart per un altro appuntamento del @DAI Trophy, in un circuito particolare con salite e discese che formano il famoso cavatappi. 

"Nei test del sabato i tempi sono stati abbastanza buoni", ci racconta Fabietto, " abbiamo provato vari assetti e rapporti fine il sabato concludendo con una buona carburazione e rapportatura. Per Merlin ci sono stati ancora piccoli problemi di assetto e scivolamento. Domenica mattina non ho nemmeno aperto gli occhi, intento ad aprire il gazebo, alzo lo sguardo e vedo arrivare il Gabri.. quel pazzoide è partito alle 4.00 di mattina per venire qui ad aiutarci... un gesto unico per chi crede e fa parte del J team. Per ogni gara le qualifiche dicono la verità dei fatti e quello che credevamo corretto alla fine non lo era.. Ci rimbocchiamo le maniche ... Gabriele ci aiuta, cambia rapporto, affina l'assetto e ottimizza la carburazione, ma la giornata sportiva proprio non vuole decollare e dopo un tentativo di sorpasso concludo con un bel 360.. insomma un fine settimana da dimenticare sotto il profilo della competizione ma resta il ricordo di un weekend fantastico dove abbiamo condiviso delle emozioni insieme ai nostri amici altoatesini e tedeschi!"

Another race weekend has come to a close for Fabio Leghissa and Alessandro Merlin, who competed in Bolzano at @Frasnelli kart for another round of the DAI trophy. The track is a particular one, with ups and downs that form the famous "corkscrew."

"In Saturday's testing, our times were pretty good," Fabietto tells us. "We tried various setups and gear ratios throughout Saturday, finishing with good carburetion and gearing. As for Merlin, there were still some small issues with the setup and sliding.On Sunday morning, I hadn't even opened my eyes yet, busy trying to open the gazebo, when I look up and see Gabriele arriving... that madman left at 4:00 in the morning to come here and help us... a truly unique gesture from someone who believes in and is part of Team J.In every race, qualifying tells the hard truth, and what we thought was correct, in the end, wasn't...We rolled up our sleeves... Gabriele helped us, changed the gear ratio, refined the setup, and optimized the carburetion, but the sporting day just didn't want to take off. After an attempted overtake, I ended up with a nice 360... so, all in all, a weekend to forget from a competitive standpoint.But the memory remains of a fantastic weekend where we shared emotions with our friends from South Tyrol and Germany!"
