Franciacorta combattuta: il J Team resiste, Gotti domina la rimonta
È stato un weekend ricco di colpi di scena per i nostri piloti impegnati nello IAME Series Italy @valm racing formula al @Franciacorta Karting track.
Il sole cocente ha messo alla prova team e mezzi, in particolare il nostro under 10 Francesco Masin, che ha dovuto disertare le prove del Sabato a causa di una insolazione. Il giovane ragazzo di Cervignano del Friuli (UD) non si è arreso e ha combattuto come un leone in tutte le fasi di gara ottenendo tempi in linea con i più veloci (presente nella sua categoria 60 U10 Jack Wolff, figlio del famoso team principal Mercedes F1 Toto).
Un'altra formativa giornata di test per Elio Masarotti, sempre più pronto per la sua prima competizione agonistica.
Uno sfortunato weekend invece per Viola Germano, impegnata nella S125 senior: dopo delle qualifiche compromesse, e delle manche difficili a causa di un assetto non ottimale, in finale è stata coinvolta in un incidente, per fortuna senza conseguenze fisiche, ma riesce comunque a consolidare la seconda posizione in campionato femminile.
Gara al cardiopalma per Thomas Gotti nella S125 junior. Rientrato nelle gare di vertice dopo quasi 2 anni, il giovane Udinese non ha perso lo smalto e ha condotto una gara entusiasmante: dopo una qualifica in P9 senza l'aiuto delle scie, nella manche 1 esce di pista in una manovra di difesa mentre occupava la P7. Partito ultimo nella manche 2, Thomas recupera fino alla P8, ma viene squalificato per essere sottopeso in verifica (100gr!). La finale è un'opera da "driver of the day": partito anche questa volta ultimo e attardato proprio sullo start recupera nuovamente ben 11 posizioni, raggiungendo la P8 a suon di sorpassi!

It was a weekend full of twists for our drivers competing in the @iame Series Italy @valm Racing Formula at Franciacorta Karting Track.
The scorching sun put both the team and equipment to the test—especially our under-10 driver, Francesco Masin, who had to skip Saturday's practice due to heatstroke. However, the young racer from Cervignano del Friuli (UD) didn't give up and fought like a lion in every race session, posting lap times on par with the fastest in his category (including 60 U10 Jack Wolff, son of the famous Mercedes F1 Technical Director Toto Wolff).
Another productive test day for Elio Masarotti, who is getting closer to his first competitive race.
Unfortunately, it was a tough weekend for Violet Germano in the S125 Senior class. After struggling in qualifying and battling through difficult heats due to a less-than-optimal setup, she was involved in a crash in the final—thankfully without any physical consequences. Despite this, she still holds onto second place in the female championship standings.
A heart-stopping race for Thomas Gotti in the S125 Junior category. Returning to top-tier racing after nearly two years, the young driver from Udine proved he hasn't lost his edge. After qualifying in P9 without the benefit of slipstreaming, he was forced off track in Heat 1 while defending P7. Starting last in Heat 2, Thomas fought back to P8, only to be disqualified for being underweight in post-race checks (by just 100 grams!). But the final was a "Driver of the Day" performance: starting last once again and delayed at the launch, he staged anincredible comeback, gaining 11 positions with bold overtakes to finish in P8!
